ALEDS was founded by Carl Clarke and Mark Hopkins over a decade ago and since this time they have continued to develop the product range both in the UK and Internationally. Despite this LED luminaires are still an emerging product which has been both a source of frustration and satisfaction for the team.

The frustration has been driven from the time taken for LED’s to become a cost neutral source and the satisfaction is that advanced leds now offer LED lights which compete with traditional lighting technology on initial cost but also offer significant energy and carbon savings.

Light emitting diodes (LEDS) provide numerous benefits over HPS or HID products, their light is produced via targeted optic lenses and require much less maintenance than filaments based options which can fuse or fracture. Due to this not only are the direct costs associated with lighting reduced but maintenance is reduced along with the associated risks of accidents.

In addition to the above LED’s  emit white light which is excellent for areas which are perception critical such as CCTV, security surveillance or in retail areas where light distribution is critical.
We operate centrally from Hinckley and have our products installed as close Rutland, 12 miles from our facility and as far away as Malaysia.

At Advanced Leds we work end to end to deliver lighting solutions, we will consult with end clients, conduct site surveys, provide lighting schemes and perform feasibility plans. Our team are capable of drafting technical specifications based on outline proposals, conducting CPD seminars and can advise on planned maintenance schedules.
