Advanced LEDs Expands Operations with Two New Team Members

aled-logoFollowing last summer’s successful graduate recruitment programme which saw us add to our Business Development, Customer Service and Finance functions, Advanced LEDs have welcomed on board two new members to the team, strengthening our capabilities across operations and sales functions.

Joining the business in the newly created role of Operations Manager, Tom Line brings with him a wealth of experience gained throughout a career spanning roles in the electronics industry. His expertise covers various aspects of operational management including supply chain, accounts, materials and logistics management. He’ll be leveraging such experience to continually develop the supply chain, driving efficiency and value from a range of suppliers to ensure we maintain high service levels and the best possible value for our clients.

Graduating with a 2:1 in English Literature and Hispanic Studies from the University of Sheffield later this month, Lucy Gosling is joining ALEDs as Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Lucy will be assisting in the development of our sales and marketing strategy, providing administrative support to the sales and business development team as well as handling incoming enquiries. She’ll also be responsible for maintaining the CRM and conducting market research. Her aptitude for languages will also be invaluable in supporting the international element of our business.

Both Tom and Lucy join the business at an exciting time as Advanced LEDs look to expand operations off the back of capital investment courtesy of Angel’s Den. Tom’s experience will be vital in ensuring operations run smoothly as the business continues to grow whilst Lucy will be key to capitalising on such growth by developing opportunities to expand the revenue stream. Both Lucy and Tom reside in the Leicestershire area, supporting our regional employment and economic growth core principle.
